Biomass Solid Fuel Research & Development Centre

Detik Aturan Sdn Bhd (DASB) has been devoted a lot of attention towards the beneficial use of Agriculture waste by converting them into value added products.

Since 2008, DASB has setting up Biomass Solid Fuel Research Center in collaboration with Center For Renewable Energy, University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) which lead by Professor Ir. Dr. Abd Halim Shamsuddin (link to CV) and Dr. Adlansyah Abd Rahman (link to CV) to leverage and capitalize on the knowledge and technology to process agro-waste such as coconut trunk, paddy husk and straw and also the agro-industrial waste such as Palm Oil Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB), Mesocarp Fibre and Palm Kernel Shell for higher value-added economic activities as part of the emerging industries.
